This is a Full-Time Driver position with Alston Transportation LLC (the β€œCompany”) delivering packages for a national technology company!

We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!

Compensation: $21.25/Hr Paid Bi-weekly

As a Delivery Driver at Alston Transportation LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community! You will start and end your day at a Warehouse.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
β€’ Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered
β€’ Follow GPS coordinated route and all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
β€’ Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
β€’ Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
β€’ Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner
β€’ Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
β€’ Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
β€’ Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
β€’ Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
β€’ Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
β€’ Report any issues or problems to management immediately

Qualifications

As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:
β€’ Must be authorized to work in the United States
β€’ Valid driver's license and clean driving record
β€’ Must successfully pass a background check
β€’ Must successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which does include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
β€’ Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
β€’ Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 Pounds
β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
β€’ Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
