As a Security Officer Patrol Cyclist in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will perform routine patrols, assist students, staff, and visitors with outstanding communication and customer service, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every shift.

What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with location protocols, offering directions and assistance while addressing questions and concerns in a professional manner.
• Support campus operations by communicating with supervisors, local first responders, and/or designated personnel during medical, weather-related, or facility-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Be able to ride a bike for long periods of time preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
