Job Description
Staffmax is helping our client hire reliable Order Pickers for a 5-month contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for picking and preparing orders for shipment in a busy distribution warehouse.

Contract Length: 5 Months

Location: Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities:

· Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners

· Label and prepare shipments for delivery

· Restock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy

· Operate pallet jacks or electric riders (if certified)

· Perform visual quality checks and ensure correct products are shipped

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment

· Meet daily pick targets and follow safety standards

Requirements:

· 6+ months of experience in a warehouse or order picking role

· Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace

· Basic computer/scanner proficiency

· Approved safety footwear required
