As a Security Guard - Perimeter Patrol Associate in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a professional office location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and when appropriate, responding to emergency and/or unusual situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unauthorized or suspicious behavior in accordance with assigned responsibilities.
• Support a professional presence at the location by communicating clearly with clients, guests, and staff while handling security-related concerns and/or requests.

Minimum Requirements:
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
