Job Description
We are looking for Night Security and Cleaning crew for our vessels. The overnight crew is responsible for the safety, security and cleanliness of the First Lady Riverwalk area. The primary function of an overnight worker is to keep watch and report any suspicious activity concerning our operation along with assisting in cleaning the vessels.

The Overnight Crew is responsible for maintaining both land and water based nightly maintenance operations during the operating season. Crew must be able to endure extreme weather conditions, fluctuations in schedule, and overtime. May operate a variety of power tools, and assist other team members. Crew must be able to work in teams and stay focused on given tasks.

Crew is expected to have a reliable source of transportation, and is expected to be punctual.

This is a seasonal role, however, this position may be eligible to work in the shipyard during the off season. If offered a shipyard position the schedule would change to days until the season starts back up in the spring.

Summary of essential job functions

1) Scrubbing cleaning, and rinsing using power washers and hand operated brushes

2) Maintains watch of all vessels and property during shift

3) The ability to report any instances to supervisor or law enforcement

4) Arrange the chairs on all boats per the seating chart

5) Erects rigging of rafts and other vessels to wash the outboard side of all vessels at the dock

6) Maintains clean work space and assists all other team members

7) Watch stander for filling potable water tanks for each vessel

Minimum requirements

Ability to work under general direction. Possess a willingness, ability, and desire to learn new skills, and take instruction. In addition, the desire and ability to teach other team members new skills. Must have the physical strength to perform work standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing. Must be comfortable working over the water or working with heights.
