As a Security Officer Protection Specialist in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will conduct routine foot, bike, and driving patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Minimum Requirements:
• Physically able to walk, run, bike, and/or hike 10 miles PER Day.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.

What You'll Do:
• Collaborate with supervisors to arrange field test schedules, vehicles, and logistics
• Meet and escort engineers or contractors to the designated test vehicle
• Safely transport engineers/contractors along predefined routes or to specific sites for testing purposes
• Monitor activities during field tests to maintain a secure environment
• Ensure all equipment, including secure Pelican cases, remains protected when engineers step out for breaks

Minimum Requirements:
• Physically able to walk, run, bike, and/or hike 10 miles PER day.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
