We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and organized packer to support our off-premise catering operations during peak event periods. The ideal candidate will ensure all food, equipment, and supplies are properly packed, labeled, and prepared for delivery to off-site venues. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high standards of accuracy and organization, and works collaboratively with chefs, packers, and operations staff to ensure seamless event preparation. Prior experience in catering, kitchen production, or warehouse packing is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Event Packing & Preparation
• Pack all food, beverages, equipment, and supplies for off-premise events according to site menus and packing lists.
• Ensure all event packages are complete, accurate, and ready prior to scheduled departure times.
• Label proofers, equipment, and event materials clearly to ensure proper identification and delivery.
• Pre-pack events scheduled for the following day to ensure timely readiness.
• Assist chefs and production staff with pack-outs and event preparation as needed.
• Verify that tasting events and special events include all required items.

Organization & Inventory Support
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient pack-out, dry storage, and walk-in areas.
• Monitor pack-out areas to ensure items are properly stored and accessible.
• Assist with organizing returned equipment and supplies from events.
• Support grocery packing and ensure items are ready for upcoming events.
• Communicate shortages, missing items, or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.

Operational Support
• Collaborate with chefs, production staff, and fellow packers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all company procedures, food safety standards, and packing protocols.
• Support overall warehouse and kitchen organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in catering, food service, kitchen production, or warehouse packing preferred.
• Experience in high-volume catering or production environments strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with catering equipment and food handling practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to work in walk-in refrigerators and freezers for extended periods.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
