JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be reporting
to the Artisan Coordinator for the following:
β€’ Carry out a variety of tasks related to mechanical maintenance and casing welding
β€’ Adhere to safety, environment, quality, and housekeeping standards
β€’ Comply with all regulations and procedures
β€’ Maintain plant availability and operational stability in accordance with required standards
β€’ Planned maintenance and shutdowns
β€’ Hoist Electrode Casings to Casing Floor
β€’ Lifting and Lowering of Casings for Installation
β€’ Welding and Grinding of Casings
β€’ Quality Inspections and Sign-off on Casings after Installation
β€’ Maintain Casing Critical Stock
β€’ Good Housekeeping on Furnace Casing and Ground Floor
β€’ Ensure Casing Support Rings delivered on time to Stores
β€’ Reporting and Recording of Casing Information
β€’ Reporting of unsafe conditions and damaged equipment
β€’ Overtime will be worked when so required
β€’ Shift work can be expected during shutdowns
