Established Catering and Food Services company based in Observatory in Cape Town, seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver to support our operations. The role involves timely deliveries, collections, stock purchasing, and assisting with packing to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
• Driver's License.
• Minimum 5 years driving experience in Cape-Town
• Previous driving experience (catering/hospitality experience is a plus)
• Good knowledge of local routes and areas
• Matric certification
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong time management and reliability

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliveries & Collections
• Safely transport food, equipment, and staff to and from event locations
• Ensure all deliveries are on time and in excellent condition
• Collect equipment and leftover stock after events
• Stock Purchasing
• Purchase ingredients and supplies as instructed
• Check quality, quantities, and pricing when buying stock
• Maintain receipts and submit expense reports accurately
• Packing & Preparation
• Assist kitchen and events team with packing orders
• Ensure all items are correctly packed, labeled, and accounted for
• Load and offload vehicles efficiently and safely
• Vehicle Management
• Keep the company vehicle clean and in good condition
• Monitor fuel levels and report maintenance issues
• Follow all road safety and traffic regulations
• General Support
• Assist with basic setup and breakdown at events when required
• Support the team with ad hoc duties as needed
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients
