POSITION INFO:

We have a Vehicle Driver position available within a dynamic automotive parts retail environment in Cape Town - Northern Suburbs. This role is ideal for a reliable and service-driven individual who takes pride in safe driving and timely deliveries.

Duties:
β€’ Deliver automotive parts to customers accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
β€’ Check goods against invoices before dispatch and delivery.
β€’ Obtain signed proof of delivery (POD) documentation.
β€’ Plan efficient routes to ensure optimal fuel and time usage.
β€’ Maintain professional communication with customers and branch staff.
β€’ Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults.
β€’ Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and compliant.
β€’ Assist with loading, offloading, and basic warehouse duties when required.

Requirements:
β€’ Proven previous 1-2 year`s delivery driving experience (automotive industry advantageous).
β€’ Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.
β€’ Physically fit and able to lift automotive parts.
β€’ Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
β€’ Matric (Grade 12) preferred.
β€’ Valid Code 8 (or higher) driver’s licence (essential).
β€’ Valid PDP (advantageous depending on company policy).
β€’ Clear criminal record.
