**Position**: Assistant Plumber

β€’ *About the Opportunity**:
Crew Life At Sea is currently recruiting **Assistant Plumbers** on behalf of one of our cruise line partners. This position plays a vital role in supporting the ship’s plumbing operations, maintaining sanitary equipment, and ensuring the functionality of all plumbing-related systems across the vessel. Working in the Facility Management and Maintenance Department, this hands-on role is ideal for mechanically skilled professionals with experience in plumbing and maintenance in industrial or construction settings.
β€’ *Role Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Plumber with daily plumbing maintenance and repair duties
- Monitor and evaluate operational parameters for black water systems and catering machinery (e.g., dishwashers, potwashers, coffee machines)
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs or part replacements on plumbing-related machinery
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment according to technical manuals and safety standards
- Support maintenance and readiness of fire safety equipment (Hi-Fog system, sprinklers, extinguishers)
- Follow shipboard safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture
- Report any issues or violations of health and safety procedures to department leadership

- High school degree in mechanics or similar technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of plumbing experience, preferably in industrial plants or construction
- Experience with installation and maintenance of bathroom fixtures and sanitary systems
- Mechanical ability and familiarity with plumbing tools and repair techniques
- Welding skills considered an asset
- Proficiency in English (A2 level or higher based on CEFR)
- Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and team collaboration skills
