**Job Advert Summary**:
Your duties will include supervision of a cleaning team of ten cleaners, ensuring that the facilities of this 130-year-old public school are clean and usable as per the planned cleaning schedule. As the team leader, you will conduct performance reviews, manage leave requests, prepare cleaning schedules and plan & supervise set-up, serving, cleaning & breakdowns for school and external events.

• *Minimum Requirements**:

- Energetic and friendly while able to provide impeccable customer service.
- A confident communicator who can remain calm under pressure.
- Self-motivated and efficient in time management.
- Able to work both within a team and independently.
- Flexible and able to respond to the needs of a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
- Willing to act as a co-Tutor as part of the school’s Vertical Tutoring System.
- Prior work experience in a school would be an added advantage

Certification:

- South African citizen or in possession of a valid visa to live and work in South Africa (essential)
- Be in possession of a police clearance certificate or similar security clearance, or be willing to undergo such clearance checks (essential)
- Experience working at heights would be an advantage.
- A Driver's licence would be an advantage.

- Fluent in both written and verbal English to a high standard (required).
- isiXhosa and/or Afrikaans fluency would be an advantage.
