Reporting to the relevant manager, the Security Guard will conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises on foot or and control access to buildings and sites by verifying identification at an established business in Polokwane, Limpopo.

Responsibilities
• Conduct searches of personnel, vehicles, and bags entering or leaving the premises to prevent unauthorised removal of property.
• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises on foot or by vehicle, checking for security breaches, hazards, and suspicious activity.
• Write detailed and accurate incident reports describing security events, observations, and actions taken for management review.
• Perform regular checks of security equipment including alarms, cameras, radios, and access control systems to ensure functionality.
• Assist with emergency procedures including fire evacuations, medical emergencies, and crisis situations according to established protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors while maintaining a firm and professional security presence.

Requirements
• A valid driver's licence is required for armed response and patrol positions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to write reports and interact professionally with clients and the public.
• A minimum of one to two years of experience in the security industry with a proven track record of reliability.
• Grade 12 certificate is preferred; Grade 10 may be acceptable for certain entry-level positions.
• The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure in emergency or high-stress situations.
• A clear criminal record is mandatory and subject to regular review as per PSIRA requirements.
