• Preparing and installing casings according to applicable standards
• Assisting Artisan (Boilermakers) with their daily duties
• Conducting general housekeeping on the casing floor
• Performing daily quality checks and inspections on all installed casings and equipment
• Performing standby duties and respond to breakdowns
• Adhere to health, safety, environment, community and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
• Grade 12 and N2 with relevant trade theory (Mechanical) or related Technical Grade 12 qualification
• At least 1 years’ experience as a semi-skilled welder
• Must have relevant grinding, welding and gas cutting skills
• Good knowledge of the HSEC systems
