THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR

THE ROLE ARE:

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
• South African citizenship – Must be a South African-born citizen.
• Previous work experience – Any prior work experience in any role.
• Attention to detail – Committed to maintaining a clean and organized space with a demonstrated ability to follow procedures.
• Physically fit – Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks consistently, including standing, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout shifts.
• Transportation – Must be able to get to and from work without issue.
WILL ALSO COUNT IN YOUR FAVOUR IF YOU HAVE:
• Cleaning experience – Previous experience in cleaning, facilities or janitorial roles.
• Education – A Matric or a higher qualification.
• Basic understanding of cleaning supplies, equipment, and hygiene safety protocols.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Daily Cleaning Assistance – Perform routine cleaning tasks across all designated areas to maintain cleanliness and order.
• Surface Care – Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust and wipe down surfaces; empty and sanitise waste bins.
• Restroom Hygiene & Monitoring – Clean and sanitise restrooms, restock supplies, and monitor hygiene standards throughout the day.
• General Maintenance Support – Assist with light maintenance tasks when required and report any faults, hazards, or equipment issues.
• Team Collaboration – Work closely with fellow cleaners and staff to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment at all times.
