Courier Guy is looking for a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. This full-time position is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods that directly impact customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles while following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle functionality. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing inquiries. Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling during transit. Maintain accurate delivery records, including times and any delivery issues. Work closely with dispatch and logistics teams to manage schedules effectively. Required and Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role preferred. Valid driver’s license with strong driving skills; forklift experience is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to solve problems and manage time efficiently under pressure. Experience in logistics or supply chain operations is advantageous.
