Job Description
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
β€’ Start-up and running of processing plant.
β€’ Maintenance of equipment.
β€’ Fault finding.
β€’ Order spares, follow up on orders.
β€’ Daily attending to breakdowns in processing plant.
β€’ Maintaining and implementing the continuous improvement programme (20 keys) as well as the Health, Safety and Environmental programme.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
β€’ Qualified Electrician (Red Seal).
β€’ Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
β€’ Experience and knowledge of PLC’s.
β€’ Experience of MEYN evisceration equipment will be advantageous.
β€’ Must be computer literate – MS Office.
β€’ Ammonia experience will be advantageous.
β€’ Must have driver’s license and reliable transport.
β€’ Initiative and ability to progress in a multi-skilled environment, a willingness to learn as well as personal and professional integrity are key requirements.
β€’ Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
β€’ The candidate should be hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
β€’ Ability to cope under pressure.
β€’ Must be prepared to work overtime, shifts and/or standby.
β€’ Fluent in English and another language will be preferable.
