Assisting licensed electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. Learning to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Pulling electrical wires and cables through conduits and raceways. Installing electrical devices such as outlets, switches, light fixtures, and control panels. Connecting wiring to electrical systems and ensuring proper connections. Troubleshooting electrical problems and performing basic repairs under supervision. Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits. Adhering to all national electrical codes and safety regulations.
