Role Overview

A well-established electrical and energy solutions business is seeking a qualified Electrician with proven solar experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and solar systems across residential, commercial, and project-based environments.
Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
β€’ Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
β€’ Install and connect solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and related components
β€’ Conduct site assessments and prepare for solar and electrical installations
β€’ Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and solar systems
β€’ Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical plans
β€’ Perform DB board upgrades, wiring, and general electrical maintenance
β€’ Ensure all installations comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards
β€’ Test systems, perform inspections, and ensure optimal system performance
β€’ Liaise with clients on-site and provide technical support where required
β€’ Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment

Minimum Requirements
β€’ Red Seal Electrician certification (essential)
β€’ Proven experience with solar installations (residential and/or commercial)
β€’ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and fault finding
β€’ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
β€’ Experience with inverters, batteries, and solar components
β€’ Valid driver’s license
β€’ Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
