Job Description
Position Overview:

Truck Driver Assistant is responsible for preparing the vehicle for long or short hauls, as well as loading and unloading of goods. Doing some routine tasks such as checking of the goods, arranging items, and checking that the lights, fire extinguisher and other safety equipment are in working condition.

Essential Job Functions:
• Loading and unloading goods
• Securing goods and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
• Assist truck driver in planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Assist truck driver in doing routine and precautionary vehicle checks before and after trip
• Assist in always keeping truck driver alert
Skills, Qualifications & Functional requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Ability to safely inspect trucks
• Reliable and timely individual
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively as well as maintain a professional collaboration with all partners
