Job Description
Responsibilities: Safely operate a delivery vehicle (e.g. light truck or van) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies. Plan and execute daily delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload merchandise from the vehicle ensuring proper handling and security of goods. Verify delivery details including customer information and product counts against delivery orders. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries interacting professionally with clients. Obtain necessary signatures and confirmations upon successful delivery. Report any vehicle issues damages or accidents immediately to management. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle. Adhere to company standards for punctuality and attendance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel consumption. Assist with warehouse duties as needed during downtime. Ensure all deliveries are completed according to schedule and customer requirements
