As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, the minimum wage for packing jobs in India is ₹18,500 per month for unskilled workers as of 1 January 2026. This rate applies to the central sphere and includes a variable dearness allowance component revised every six months. Overtime must be paid at double the ordinary rate for hours beyond 8 per day.
