Job Description
We are looking for committed and reliable Hourly-Rated Contingent Workers to support our Housekeeping team. If you are comfortable with hands-on cleaning work, detailed cleaning duties and maintaining high hygiene standards, we welcome you to apply.

Work Arrangement:
• Minimum 5 hours per day
• Minimum 5 rooms per day
• Minimum 4 days per week
• Commitment Period of 1 month
• Flexible roster based on operational requirements

Job Description:

The role focuses on intensive cleaning, heavy dusting and detailed upkeep works to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the hotel.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Heavy dusting and detailed cleaning of guestrooms, corridors, back-of-house and public areas
• Deep cleaning of high-touch surfaces
• Glass panel & mirror cleaning to ensure streak-free finishes
• High-level* dusting including walls, cornice, ceilings, cove ambient lighting, vents, curtains, and fixtures
• Carpet extraction for deep dirt removal
• Upholstery & mattress extraction to maintain hygiene and freshness
• Curtains & headboard steaming for fabric care
• Light fixtures cleaning including lampshades
• Bathroom tile grouting wash for spotless walls and floors
• Stainless steel surface polishing and sanitizing high-touch points
• Bathroom showerhead cleaning to remove dirt and mineral buildup
• Appliance deep cleaning including hard to reach and rarely accessed areas behind fridges and televisions
• Wardrobe & drawer cleaning for hidden dust removal
• Balcony cleaning for outdoor spaces
• Cleaning of baseboards (skirting board)
• Floor polishing for timber and marble surfaces
• Ensuring all assigned areas meet luxury hotel cleanliness and hygiene expectations
• Reporting maintenance defects, damages, or hygiene concerns observed during cleaning works
• Following proper safety procedures, correct usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and adhering to safe practices when working at heights*

Job Requirements:
• Able to perform physical and hands-on cleaning duties
• Comfortable with standing, walking, and manual cleaning work for extended periods
• Positive attitude and reliable work attendance
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not mandatory
• Able to commit to scheduled workdays consistently
• Experience working in a luxury hotel environment
• WSQ Perform Work-at-height certification is required for individuals working at heights*
