According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the national minimum wage for packing staff roles is 30,450 TRY per month as of 1 January 2026. Overtime must be paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate after 45 hours per week. Employers must also provide a 13th-month bonus equivalent to one month's wage by December 2026.

İŞKUR requires a valid national ID, high school diploma or equivalent, and a health report dated within the last 6 months for packing staff applications. Applicants must also upload their İŞKUR registration number and a signed CV through the e-Devlet portal before 31 March 2026. No experience certificate is mandatory for entry-level roles.

Packing staff are limited to 45 hours per week with a mandatory 30-minute break after every 4 hours as per the Labor Law. Full-time employees receive 14 days of paid annual leave after completing one year of service, increasing to 20 days after five years. Sick leave of up to 10 days per year is covered by SGK with a doctor's report.

Packing staff earning up to 158,000 TRY annually pay 15% income tax withheld monthly by the employer under the 2026 Income Tax Tariff. Amounts between 158,001 TRY and 330,000 TRY are taxed at 20%. SGK premiums of 14% employee share are deducted separately from gross pay.
