Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Restaurant Chef and Partner to lead culinary operations and contribute to the growth of an innovative dining establishment. This role combines expert kitchen management with entrepreneurial spirit, offering an exciting opportunity to craft exceptional menus, oversee daily food service, and share in the ownership and success of the restaurant. Responsibilities
• Lead all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu planning, and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Oversee food safety protocols, dietary department standards, and maintain compliance with health regulations.
• Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize profitability.
• Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to build a motivated and skilled team.
• Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision and creativity.
• Implement efficient food service management practices to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining setting.
• Collaborate on business development initiatives, including marketing strategies and community engagement to grow the restaurant’s reputation.
Experience
• Proven culinary experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management.
• Demonstrated supervising experience with teams in high-volume restaurant or hospitality settings.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and food handling procedures.
• Experience in banquet service, catering operations, and inventory management within the food industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage shifts effectively, and foster a positive team culture.
• Familiarity with menu planning, food service management systems, and hospitality best practices.
• Prior restaurant experience that highlights expertise in cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service excellence.
