As a Security Officer - Guest Service Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries, entrances, and public areas, helping to discourage security-related incidents through a visible presence and routine rounds. You will respond to guest needs with clear communication and a service-first mindset, assist with access control and incident documentation, and collaborate with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor guidelines, and Allied Universal policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of galleries, entrances, corridors, offices, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and/or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, crowd management, and/or medical response coordination as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, report suspicious activity, and document observations in daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Control keys and/or access credentials, verify authorized entry to restricted areas, and communicate clearly with site leadership and public agencies when escalation is needed.

Minimum Requirements:
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
