Job description

ProForce Staffing is looking for several Commercial Plumbers for a long term projects in Dallas, Texas. This project offers competitive pay and benefits.

An apprentice plumber is an entry-level position that involves working under the supervision of a more experienced plumber to learn the trade. Apprentices perform many of the same tasks as experienced plumbers, including:
• Installing and repairing pipes
• Unclogging plumbing systems
• Installing new plumbing fixtures
• Inspecting and testing pipe systems
• Troubleshooting systems
• Installing supports
• Identifying leaks
• Cutting, welding, and assembling pipes
• Collaborating with contractors and construction workers
• Reviewing building plans
• Preparing cost estimates for clients
• Assisting with difficult problems
• Identifying the best location to place pipes and other systems
• Following safety measures when installing plumbing systems

Apprentices may also help maintain plumbing systems, identify repair or replacement needs, and provide information on how to use equipment properly. They may work on easier jobs independently or help with more complex jobs.

Apprentices may need to have the following physical abilities:
• Hearing and speaking to exchange information
• Dexterity of hands to perform tasks
• Sight to be aware of hazards
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to climb ladders of varying heights

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
